ABOUT
Although formally trained in the plastic arts, Christopher has concentrated on photography and print making, and has held several successful exhibitions of his work in a number of countries. Prior to studying at the Corcoran, Christopher had staged several successful local exhibitions in the DC Metro area. Subsequent exhibitions have been held in countries as diverse as Uruguay, Germany and Cuba.
Christopher is a published author, and has produced a collection of his photographs, entitled "Welcome Home" (2006). He is an active participant in both local and international Arts organizations, including The Societe Imaginaire, based in Chemnitz, Germany, and here in Washington DC, the Washington Project For The Arts.
Christopher continues to create his work. Having spent a number of years producing film-based silver gelatin prints, he is currently pursuing a new interest in full color pigmented ink jet prints. He is currently working on an exhibition of these digital prints. These are produced in his home studio in Northern Virginia, where he lives with his wife and dog
